Preparing your paper

Important Notes

1. The camera-ready version of accepted regular papers (up to 8 pages), short papers (up to 4 pages), and posters (up to 3 pages) must follow the guidelines given here. Failing to comply with all the required elements will lead to the removal of the affected paper from the technical program and the conference record.
2. The final version of papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format through a web application that AICCSA will make available. The Technical Program Chairs will send to the paper's principal author an email containing the specific URL that must be followed to upload it.

   The deadline for uploading papers is February 24, 2007.

3. Authors must complete and sign the IEEE Copyright release form and then send to Kelly Sutton, University of Arizona. You can find further information here.
4. For a paper to be included in the AICCSA 2007 Proceedings, at least one author must be registered to attend the conference.

Paper lengths

Please, take into account the following when preparing your camera-ready version.

• Regular papers

  You are allowed a total of eight (8) pages. This includes all figures, tables, and references. Up to one (1) extra page may be purchased at a cost of US $150.00.

  You should pay the extra charges with registration.

• Short papers

  You are allowed a total of four (4) pages. This includes all figures, tables, and references. Up to one (1) extra page may be purchased at a cost of US $150.00.

  You should pay the extra charges with registration.

• Extended Abstracts of posters and doctoral research proposals

  You are allowed a total of three (3) pages. This includes all figures, tables, and references. Up to one (1) extra page may be purchased at a cost of US $150.00.

  You should pay the extra charges with registration.

Authors' Kit

In the Author's Kit (77 KB, .zip) you will find the following files:

• instructions.doc: Instructions on formatting your paper for the proceedings (MS Word).
• ieee_cs_latex.zip: A set of files with instructions on formatting your paper for the proceedings (for LaTeX).
• format.doc: A template for the paget formatting (MS Word).
• reprints.pdf: Form to order reprints of your paper (PDF).
• copyright.pdf: Copyright release form, necessary to publish your paper (PDF)

Completing the copyright release form

The IEEE copyright release form must be completed, signed and sent to the following address, either by email or fax.

Please, put the conference name - AICCSA-2007 - on the emails and faxes.
