SPECTS_Summary

There is no doubt that powerline networks are growing around home environments, to which we demand more reliability and data rate transmission speed. In order to design a powerline system it is necessary to understand and characterize the powerline network behavior through mathematical models. This would allow the transmitter / receiver scheme to be validated optimizing the use of the powerline network. In this article we propose a complete channel model that takes into account the noise generated in the network as well as the frequency attenuation profile of the unmatched network.
